App Review: World Card Mobile

Do you run your own business? Do you have a secret fetish with business cards from other companies? Do you wish you could just make all your business cards sync themselves to your iPhone? Well now you can, sort of.

Say you are at a world wide business meeting and you meet a few new people. You get a chance to share a few drinks and a few laughs about business and life. At the end of the conversation you agree to do business with all of them and ask for their cards. Instead of having a ton of biz cards in your pocket, you can now just open up the app and take a picture of their card. The app will automatically take the information on the card and sync it to your contacts in your phone while giving you the chance to edit anything else. Save the your new business partner’s contact, and your set to do the other 10! Even if some card’s are in a different language, you can select it and it will still recognize the card!

Although this app may take some time getting use to, this app is fantastic for the business man/woman who just doesn’t want to carry around a ton of business cards. It is a great idea, although nothing new to the app store, and it works 8 out of 10 times. It even worked on the Starbucks “pick of the week” song I had in my pocket. Pretty Cool I think!
