Pricing & Availability
iPhone 4 will be available in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Singapore, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland this Friday, July 30.

iPhone 4 is currently available in France, Germany, Japan, the UK and the US for a suggested retail price of $199 (US) for the 16GB model and $299 (US) for the 32GB model. iPhone 4 will roll out to many more countries later this year and Apple will announce availability and local pricing for these additional countries at a later date.

Okay, we new that already. What we were hoping to see this morning was pre-orders start in at least some of these countries. Canada, for one. Why is it that Apple only did pre-orders for the first round of the iPhone 4? Is it to do with supply? Some legality? What?!

We are still waiting to here from the carriers, here in Canada, on pricing and upgrade eligibility. we are a mere 4 days away from the iPhone 4 launch, and I still have no idea if I’ll be able to buy one, or not. Rumor is, Rogers will do the same thing they did for the iPhone 3GS launch, and just let you upgrade if you already have an iPhone or other smartphone, that was purchased before the new iPhone was announced. We’ll just have to wait and see.
