Gizmodo Says It’s Real…

Today Gizmodo threw their 2 cents in, on these new pics of what could be the next iPhone. We’ve been following this over the weekend, as Engadget, among others, have been going back and fourth over the validity of the device.

Gizmodo got their hands on the mysterious device, and have photographed it and taken it apart to really get a good look at it, and decide if it’s real or fake. Their conclusion is that, this is definitely an Apple iPhone prototype, but they can’t say for sure if it will be the final design. I thought I would share some of their pictures with you. Take a look, and see what you think.

You can view Gizmodo’s full gallery of new iPhone pics, here.

So, is this the iPhone of your dreams? It does seem to have a lot of the features we have been asking for: Front facing camera, camera flash, better rear facing camera (larger, more megalpixels), higher resolution display, better reception (with the glass/ceramic back), etc.

Will you be getting one? I’ve read comments, here and there, that some people will not buy this, just because of how it looks. I don’t get why the design is such an issue. Sure, Apple is known for the design of their products, just as much as the technolody inside, but I think the tech outweighs the design, when deciding on the purchase of your next smartphone.

Confirmation of this being the next iPhone could come in the form of a “Cease and Desist” order from Apple to Gizmodo. Or perhaps, Jason Chen will go “missing”. ;)
