iOS 4.0.1 and 3.2.1 Released!
Apple has released it’s first update to iOS 4, in iOS 4.0.1, for iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, and iPhone 4. Also. iOS 3.2.1 has been released for iPad. These releases are supposed to resolve the small signal bar issue (which is not really an issue, in my opinion), which is supposed to help iPhone 4 users tell when they really have low signal. This is not a fix for the “death grip” issue, where bridging the gap between the antennae loses signal. Apple is holding a press conference tomorrow (July 16th), where they are expected to touch on this issue. The update for the iPad includes a fix for the much publicized WiFi issue, among other bug fixes. Also adds Bing, as a search option.
If you jailbreak and/or unlock your device, please avoid this update, until the jailbreak tools are updated, to support this new release. Now that iOS 4.0.1 is now public, we could see a new release from comex and The iPhone Dev Team very soon.
