iOS 4.1 Released to Developers
First thing we will say is, DO NOT UPDATE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR JAILBREAK AND/OR UNLOCK. Also, IF YOU PLAN TO JAILBREAK AND/OR UNLOCK YOUR IPHONE 4, DO NOT UPDATE. I know this is only for developers, but the general public tends to get their hands on new releases, one way or another. We say this everytime there is a new update, but for some reason, it can’t be said enough.
Apple has released iOS 4.1 BETA (ios_4.1_beta_8b5080c) to developers today. It includes a new baseband (02.07.01), beta version of Game Center, and the signal bars fix, that Apple had talked about earlier this month.

BGR reports that the signal bars do look bigger, but this isn’t really a fix for the antenna issue. This is just another issue they found, while looking into the bigger picture.

We have read some reports that the current version of redsn0w (0.9.5 beta 5-5) still works to jailbreak iOS 4.1, on iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G, but we have not tried this to confirm. We suggest just waiting for the official release of this firmware, and official update to redsn0w.
