iPhone 4 Coming to Canada July 23rd?

iPhoneinCanada is reporting that, according to their source (possibly an Apple Store employee), iPhone 4 could launch in Canada on Friday, July 23rd.

  • Word around the store is a July 23rd launch for the iPhone 4.
  • Employees have been asked to start shifts at 7:00AM on that day.
  • No one is allowed to book time off on that day

We heard the same kind of rumour before the iPad launch in Canada, and those rumours turned out to be true. If July 23rd is the release date, we should hear news from Apple and the carriers soon. That would be a nice Canada Day gift, Apple. ;) (wink wink)

    July, 30 is sure. Unlocked or not? “If your iPhone 4 is unlocked via jailbreaking, every time Apple releases a new iOS update you’re stuck in limbo. You can’t update via iTunes or you’ll lose your unlock.”But jailbreaking iphone 4 is legal in USA. Maybe, iphone 4 should provide something richer for developers to create for, like ifunia, who declared they are dedicated in creating affordable and easy multimedia software to simplify your Mac life, but not kill them with “iTunes”. Then I'll purchase an unlocked with no hesitation.
