Netflix Becomes App Store’s Fourth Most Wanted Free App (US Only)

Netflix recently reached the status of a universal app as it brought its highly in demand streaming capabilities to the land of iPhone and iPod Touch. In case you were wondering about the kind of impact this universal app will have on the Apple universe, here is your answer – the app has made it to the top 10 free Apps section of the Netflix.

To add to the interest, the app reached this impressive landmark within a day of its launch which will no doubt excite the Netflix officials.Initially, Netflix was available for iPad users only which no doubt had the iPhone and iPod Touch nation unhappy. The app is capable of streaming TV shows and movies to iDevices over 3G or WiFi as and when you desire.

The app currently holds the fourth spot but don’t be surprised if it goes higher than that.
