New iPhone Model Numbers Pop Up in Apple TV Firmware

9to5Mac is reporting that 2 unreleased models of the iPhone have been discovered in the Apple TV firmware that was released yesterday. Digging through the firmware uncovered iPhone 3,2 and iPhone 3,3. iPhone 3,1 is the current iPhone 4, so logically 3,2 and 3,3 could be different iterations of the current model.

Rumours are swarming about these new models. Some say one of them could be a CDMA version of the iPhone 4. Others are saying one of them could be a model with an antennae fix. Maybe we’ll finally see that mysterious white iPhone 4. There’s also the possibility that one of them could be the next iPhone to be released next summer. These are all just rumours, and I’m sure we’ll find out eventually. -rorypiper
