iPod Touch 4G w/Camera Leaked in Vietnam?

Okay, Steve: you gotta send in the troops. Vietnam is all up in your business! We’re not sure what is going on over there, or how they are getting their hands on these Apple prototypes, but the same Vietnamese website that showed off the iPhone HD, has just released pics and video on a iPod Touch prototype, featuring a camera.

Tinhte.vn has gotten their hands on, what looks like, a next generation iPod Touch. It looks like it has the same camera and mic as the iPod Nano. The device’s design looks exactly like the current iPod Touch, so it is possible that this is the 3rd gen iPod Touch prototype w/camera, that we learned about last year. From the video, it looks like the device is running a test version of iPhone OS 3.1, (look at iTunes in the video).

So, what do you think? Is this the next iPod Touch, or a prototype of the current one? The fact that it is running iPhone OS 3.1 could be a tell-tale sign that this is not the next iPod Touch, as the 4th generation model will most likely run iPhone OS 4.0. In my opinion, the iPod Touch is due for an update in design, just like the iPhone, and we’ve already seen tons of evidence of that.
